
Piano; B.A., Mills College, California; Advanced degrees in musicology, Columbia University. Her teachers included Darius Milhaud and Leon Kirchner She made her professional debut as soloist with the San Francisco Symphony. As founder and co-director of the new music organization Continuum, she has recorded extensively and performed at major festivals worldwide. She has taught piano her entire career, including Mills College Preparatory School, Hoff-Barthelson Music School (Scarsdale), and Columbia University Summer School. She directed Lucy Moses School’s Young People’s Programs 1990–2000, and served the Special Music School on its admission committee and as performance evaluator.
