Christopher Nazarian, an Alumni from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Piano Performance as well as a Master’s in Opera Performance. 

Piano performance highlights include; Babajanian’s Heroic Ballade for Piano and Orchestra, Piano Concertos with orchestra by Chopin (No.1 in e-minor), Rachmaninoff (No.2 in c-minor), Beethoven (No.3 in c minor), in addition to modern work, Manera Concertante for Piano and Orchestra, broadcast by ABC Classic FM. Christopher has also participated at International Piano Music Festivals in Australia, France, Italy and Portugal.

As an Opera singer, Christopher actively performs in the NYC metro area. Recent performances include;

New York City Opera’s (LA TRAVIATA) as Marchese d’Obigny, Del’arte Opera as Arch Bishop (JUANA), New Rochelle Opera as Angelotti (TOSCA), St Petersburg Opera as Cadmus/ Somnus/ Priest (SEMELE), Maestro Spineloccio (GIANNI SCHICCHI), and Sarasota Opera as Zaccaria (NABUCCO), Le Duc (ROMEO ET JULIET), and Count Ceprano (RIGOLETTO). Awarded outstanding Lead Actor by Theatre Tampa Bay 2019 for his performance of Leporello (DON GIOVANNI) with St. Petersburg Opera. 

In addition to his private studio, Christopher taught piano at the Conservatoire Russe Alexandre Scriabine in Paris and Forte School of music in Sydney. Christopher currently teaches piano at Lucy Moses School and serves as Assistant Conductor for the Concert Choir at Special Music School.
