Konstantina Siokis is a soprano, voice teacher, and SVI-trained vocologist specializing in performance, pedagogy, and voice science. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Montclair State University, a Master of Music in Vocal Performance, and a Post-Master’s Advanced Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy from New York University. She trained at the University of Utah’s Summer Vocology Institute.
Konstantina has served as an Adjunct Instructor of Voice at New York University, teaching both classical and CCM styles. She has presented guest lectures at Gallaudet University’s M.S. program in Speech-Language Pathology and Illinois State University, and has contributed book reviews to Voice and Speech Review. She also served as a Choral Director in secondary education, leading large choral ensembles.
Operatic credits include Gilda in Rigoletto, Bianca in Bianca e Fernando at the Lunigiana International Music Festival in Tuscany, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, and First Lady in The Magic Flute. Concert work includes appearing as a soloist in the role of Gilda in Mia Cara Figlia at the Frederick Loewe Theatre and performing in the ensemble of Jeannine Tesori’s Blue at David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center. She has also performed choral works at Carnegie Hall and NJPAC. In musical theatre, she has appeared in cabaret performances at The Green Room 42, The Cutting Room, and 54 Below.
