Ballet and Musical theater; faculty of the Kaufman Music Center since 1991. Currently, she also teaches and has created the dance program at the IDEAL School of Manhattan and has taught residencies at numerous public and private schools and colleges, including P.S. 87, Birch Wathen Lenox School, the Millbrook School and Hamilton College. She trained in classical ballet at the Ballet Russe and later with Maestro Alfredo Corvino. Following her dance training at Kirkland College, she studied modern at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, and with Merce Cunningham and Thelma Hill. Ms. Grégoire danced for Anna Sokolow and with various modern companies, touring internationally, and was artistic director of her own company, Cirque Grégoire for many years. She is a certified Movement and Mindfulness teacher. Ms. Grégoire has received choreography fellowships from the Joyce Mertz Gilmore Foundation and the New York State Council on the Arts, among others.
