International Keyboard Institute and Festival: Martín García García

Spanish pianist Martín García García, has been touring as soloist with orchestras and in recital throughout Poland, Japan, Germany, and his native Spain. In 2021 he won First Prize at the Cleveland International Piano Competition and made his recital debut at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall in October 2022. Mr. García García also won Third Prize and Special Award for Best Concerto at the 2021 International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland, and the 2022 Jeffrey Tate Prize from the Hamburg Symphony.  In 2018 he won First Prize at the International Keyboard Institute & Festival Competition. He received his Master’s degree in Piano Performance from the Mannes School of Music under the tutelage of Jerome Rose and is a graduate of the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid, where he studied with Galina Eguiazarova.  Born in Gijón, Spain, he currently divides his time between Madrid and New York City.
