Martín García García, born in Gijón, Spain in 1996, began studying piano at the age of five. From age fourteen, he studied with Galina Eguiazarova and graduated from the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid. In 2021 he won First Prize at the Cleveland International Piano Competition and Third Prize at the International Chopin Competition with the award for Best Concerto. In 2018 he won First Prize at the International Keyboard Institute and Festival Scholarship Competition. Martín received his Masters Degree in Piano from the Mannes School of Music, The New School studying with Jerome Rose.
